Topic: Stop Setting Goals, Solve Problems
So, how are those goals going?
I bet you have a number of them still sitting there, partially completed, some you may have even forgotten about on your list.
You remember the list, right?
Goals take a lot of work! Now, I'm not against doing the work but is this the right path to get results?
Many goals are driven by our culture and driven by ego. Examples of these are, buying a house (or a bigger house), getting married (having a luxury wedding), losing weight (being supermodel hot), making money (tons of money), and being famous (Instagram famous).
And the list can go on and on, but...
I want to highlight two reasons why goals are flawed...
They may not be your own, but what others expect of you.
They may not satisfy you, and you're asking, What's next?
Many of the goals we often do are inspired by the other people around us. So you need to begin asking yourself honestly and self-reflect if these are YOUR goals.
When we use metrics and results to validate our self-worth, we postpone our happiness in life and place our lives outside the realm of control. We often feel that we are on our way to joy, to realize the finish line was pushed back even further!
We need to focus on a process to solve problems, not goals. When we do our outcomes change, new habits develop, a sense of commitment takes form, and we will be continuously in action.
Join us at the Professional Development Academy to learn how to apply this new way of thinking. We will walk you through a unique approach to achieve more with the right processes and activities.
In this class, you will learn...

The Power in Being A Problem Solver
